I was terrible at taking pictures during Christmas, it makes me sad. Even still, we had so much fun! Winston was so excited for everything, it made it that much more enjoyable.

Cookies and milk for Santa...

Christmas morning Winston came into our room and whispered..."He came! I heard him, then went in the family room to look, and he came. He left presents!" He had woken up a little too early, but was really good about laying in bed with us until Henry woke up to open presents.

We had a pre-Thanksgiving dinner with my family the Sunday before Thanksgiving that was so fun. Then on the actual day we had dinner with Daniel's family. They have a tradition of making gingerbread houses after dinner. It's so fun! Of course the boys loved it too...anything with candy involved is always a hit.

As crazy, hyper, wild, naughty, and out of control these two can get...I LOVE the moments when they play so well together. I love when Winston helps Henry without being asked. I love when he includes him in what he is doing. I love when Henry asks him to help him with something. I love that Henry gets sad when we drop Winston off at school. I love when Henry wants to do whatever Winston is doing...except for the naughty things! I love that Henry wants to give Winston a hug and kiss before his nap and bedtime. I love that Winston lets Henry give him a sloppy kiss on the cheek even though I know he doesn't want him to. I love it when Henry gives Winston a hug when he's hurt or sad. I love it when they make each other laugh. I love that they love each other.

Henry got a cake mix out of the pantry, scissors out of the drawer, cut it open, poured it in a big pile in the front room, got a spatula and began eating...oh boy.

Curious George came to visit at the library during Story Time. Winston was SO excited!

Henry is always wearing something a little extra. He chooses a belt (worn over his tummy), wristband, boots, all kinds of hats, sunglasses, etc. It's pretty funny to see what he picks each day.

I can't believe Winston is old enough to go to preschool. Time is seriously flying by...even faster since Henry was born. I'll just be honest and say that I cried at the orientation for the parents. Then again at the Open House. And then again after I dropped him off for his first day. And then again on his fourth day. I've really got to pull myself together.

Winston has been so excited to start school. He got a few new clothes to wear. And even though it was 86 degrees on the first day, he still wanted to his new clothes. We went outside to take some pictures and he chose all the places and poses. On the drive to school he started saying that he was scared and nervous. I told him that it's okay to be nervous. Everyone gets nervous when they do new things. It kind of feels like butterflies in your tummy. He said, "Yeah, it feels like that. And I think I have some in my throat too." So cute. He was great when we got to school and walked in being so brave. He wanted me to stay with him, but then found some cool toys to play with and told me, "I like this. Bye mom." When I went to pick him up, he was so excited to tell me all the details. Sometimes I feel like I just can't stand how cute he is. I love it.

When it's good weather, we walk Winston to his music class. On this particular day, Henry would not let me change his shoes (they're Winston's) or take off the Mr. Potato Head glasses. When we got back home he just laid on the floor and fell asleep with everything still on. He makes me laugh.

We spent an afternoon a while back getting a lesson from Daniel's mom on how to make whole wheat bread. It turned out so yummy, I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of how they turned out!

The first Saturday of every month there is a free kids project at Home Depot. Daniel usually just goes with Winston, Daniel's brother John, and his son, Ryan...but, Henry and I tagged along this time. Winston made a mini dry erase board and Henry made a mini tool box.

Winston started a little music class and the first day he made this. I asked if I could take a picture of him with it. He usually says no, but this time he said yes! After I took one he said, "Okay mom, one more. Let's try this." and then did the pose in the second picture. Love it.

Henry is growing up too fast. I can't believe he's already two! We had so much fun planning a cowboy party, complete with a shirt that used to be Daniel's when he was little. So fun! Everyone was so nice to come and bring such thoughtful gifts. Thanks to my mom for the delicious food and to my amazing sister-in-law, Kristen, for the rad cookies! About a half hour into the party it started getting really windy and started to rain. Luckily I had focused all my time on getting the backyard set up and didn't do a thing to the inside...where the party actually ended up :) We still had fun!

I didn't get to fully enjoy my hard work :) I didn't get to take pictures of the really fun labels on these bottles of rootbeer that said things like "moonshine" and "tarantula spit".

We went to see the Sound of Music with my family at Sundance. Despite the fact that Winston wasn't feeling well and sounded like he was coughing up a lung through the entire show...and despite the fact we decided to leave a little early and hike up what seemed like the longest and steepest hill which led us to the wrong parking lot...we had so much fun! :) Winston was sad when we left and of course had to be carried by me the entire way. He kept crying out, "I want to see what happens to Maria!" It was so funny. Thanks for the fun night Mom and Dad!

We had a 9pm idea to have a cousin sleepover and Winston was in heaven. They spent a couple hours having a Playmobile battle, watched "Flushed Away" and finally fell asleep. "Best night ever!"...according to Winston.

After two days of him screaming and crying...he did awesome. He would jump and swim from one step to the step on the other side and yell, "cowabunga!". It was hilarious. He loved jumping off the diving board, kicking his legs with the noodle, and diving for the rocket. He learned to swim from the diving board all the way to the ladder and was always the last one out of the pool.

These boys love their dad. I can spend the entire day doing fun things with them, have yummy food and a few treats, and still...the second they hear the garage door open, they both race to give Daniel a huge hug and kiss and want to play with him. I get home from running an errand...no hugs or kisses, Henry is no where to be found and Winston only comes to ask if I have a surprise for him. I feel so loved :)

Most days Henry doesn't care what I have him wear, but then there are the occasional days that he has his own opinion...

We had such a fun week in California. We went to the beach, did some shopping, went to Disneyland, enjoyed time together and WARM weather!

Winston was a good sport and waited in line for 40 minutes to see Mickey. He gave Mickey "five" then gave him a hug. Just after we left he said, "Oh no, wait! We have to go back. I forgot to say hi to him!"

It was so funny to watch Winston go around Toon Town and try to open things or move them and get so frustrated that nothing would actually move. He came running up to us with a mad face saying, "Nothing works in this place, nothing opens!"

Henry loved the characters from a distance, but not so much up close.

We had such a fun Easter! We went to the Cottonwood Heights egg hunt with my sister's family. It was so funny to see hundreds and hundreds of eggs picked up in less than a minute. Winston was happy with his ten eggs.

I just love this picture.

Henry wants to do pretty much everything Winston is doing. When Winston goes outside to play, Henry wants his hat and gloves on too...even if he doesn't get to go out.

He is THE cutest sleeper.

Most of the time these two really enjoy playing together. I'm really enjoying it.

One of Daniel's favorite treats are the chocolate doughnuts from 7-11. The boys get a little too excited when he brings one home.

Henry has a couple of annoying bumps on his forehead that we need drops for. He

closes his eyes and stays really still while we put it on. It's pretty cute.

I'm pretty emotional. Since I've had kids...a little too emotional :) It took a while for Winston to get the hang of nursery. When he finally did, I cried. First day of Primary, I really cried. It was a little embarassing. I just feel like he is getting to be so big! His birthday is in January so we just missed the deadline for Primary last year. He was so excited to go. He walked right in and sat down on the little chairs for Sunbeams. It was so cute. It has been fun to watch him come out with a big smile on his face and be so excited to tell me all about it.

Winston loves his dad.

Winston wakes up every morning and watches his morning cartoon, Curious George.

He then comes into our room, climbs up on the bed and whispers to Daniel, "Dad, let's wrestle."

Before Daniel leaves for school or work, Winston makes sure he

doesn't forget to give him a hug and kiss.

When Winston hears the garage door open, he runs to the closest

table to hide underneath it so he can try to scare Daniel.

Any project Daniel works on, Winston is right there asking if he can help him.

Winston doesn't want to eat his dinner until Daniel gets home, even if it's late.

Winston gets excited when he gets to go somewhere with just Daniel.

Winston loves to make forts and "secret hideouts" with Daniel. They love to play army guys and blocks together. They love to play with their Playmobile guys and have battles. They love to play in the backyard on the pirate ship (a log and tree stump).

They have THE cutest friendship. I love it.

This handsome boy has been walking for a few weeks now. It is so cute! He still seems to always have a scratch or bruise somewhere on his face, but he's really starting to get the hang of it. Since he was born I haven't really had him wear shoes that much. The other day I brought up a box of Winston's old shoes. It was so funny to see Henry's face. He started breathing heavy and was smiling so big. He wanted to try on each pair and when he'd get up to walk in them, he was SO happy! It was hilarious.

I continue to be so happy that I had two boys in a row! They play pretty darn cute together and it makes me so excited for the future. Henry loves to play in Winston's room and climb up on his bed and he loves to try on Winston's shoes.

We have enjoyed our walks this summer...

We got home from the Moffat family reunion on Henry's first birthday and decided to have a little celebration at home that night before the birthday party the next day.

Everyone says this about their own kids, but it's true...I can't believe Henry is already one. It has gone by so fast. I feel like I've really made an effort to enjoy each stage. He has a hard time going to anyone else but me and I love it. He is such a fun baby and I can't imagine life without him.

Henry is quite the mover. He's still doing an army crawl to get around, but he's fast! He's now trying to pull himself up on things and loves to open drawers and then shut his arm or fingers in them. So fun :)

We went camping at Strawberry with my brother Ryan and his cute family. We had such a fun time and Winston loved being outside for two whole days. We went tubing, fished for crawdads, looked for potguts to shoot, ate yummy food, celebrated Ryan's birthday on the 24th and just enjoyed the outdoors. Thank you Ryan and Sasha!

He finally jumped...

After three weeks of Winston not wanting to jump off the side of the pool or diving board or only doing it if I pushed him off, weird-I know, he finally did both during his last week! Winston loves to jump off anything, so I was getting frustrated that he wouldn't do it. But one day during his last week he walked right over to the diving board. His teacher told us not to say anything or look at him yet. Just as he was about to jump, we looked, and he did it! We were so proud and it was cute to see him be so proud of himself. As a thank-you to his teacher, I asked my sister-in-law, Kristen, to make some cookies to give to her. I love how they turned out! Thanks Kris.

He got pushed in by a little boy earlier and kept checking behind him to make sure it wouldn't happen again. It was so funny.

Swimming Lessons

Winston started swimming lessons this summer. He was so excited to start. After the first day...not so much. He cried almost the whole time the first day. The rest of the first week he would say to his cute and very patient teacher, Lisa, "Come closer! I don't want to go off the diving board! I don't want to go under water! I want to go back to the steps! I want you to hold me!" But the second week was a completely different story. He began to love it. He's still afraid to go off the diving board by himself, but will let me push him off. He loves to blow bubbles, go under water, do the choo choo train on the side of the pool, push off the steps and swim to Lisa, "swim" to the bottom to get the rocket, and take rides on his back. I was blow drying my hair in the bathroom and came out to find this. He thought he was hilarious.

Bath time is so fun these days. I love that they will take a bath together and that Henry can sit up great without me worrying about him slipping. Henry loves to splash Winston. Winston loves it.

Henry usually goes to bed around 7:30, so I wasn't sure if he'd last for fireworks. He did...and he loved them. He just stared at them like this the whole time. It was so cute.

We went to Discovery Gateway for another fun outing while my brother and his family were here from Texas. We had SO much fun!

We are big fans of Toy Story 1...2...and now 3. Winston would get so excited whenever he'd see a preview for it on tv. This was his second time at a movie theater and he loved it! My mom took the cousins to see it in 3D. I didn't think he would like wearing the glasses, but he kept them on the whole time and told me they were cool.

Don't you love his outfit? He is just the cutest boy and I totally cried in the movie, just thinking of him :)

We went to Heber to see my niece, Cicily, be baptized. They have a really cool house with lots of animals and fun things to do.

I am not an animal person. Winston LOVES animals. It takes a lot of energy to pretend that I'm not afraid whenever we're by one. I'm happy he loves them.

I know we've waited too long to take Winston's binky away. Random people in the grocery store and other places would tell me so. (pretty rude, if you ask me!) I knew he could do it. I just wasn't ready myself. I loved seeing him hold his little blanket and seeing his binky move in his mouth. It sounds silly, but I just thought it was so cute. Last Thursday, we decided it was time. We had him put all his binkis in a ziploc and put them on the front porch. We told him the Binky King (don't know how we thought of that one) would come and take his binkis and give them to new little babies that needed them. And if he went to bed and took his naps without his binky, then on Tuesday morning, the Binky King would leave Woody, from Toy Story, for him. I thought he would put up a fuss for sure, but he hasn't cried once! He hasn't even really wanted his blanket now either. It's so nice to not have to worry about losing either around the house and have to search for them constantly, but it does make me a little sad to think he's growing up so fast.

Every time someone would knock on the door, he thought it was the Binky King bringing Woody.

Henry's been sitting up for a while now, but not to the point where I can walk away. He can sit by himself for about a minute and then he gets tired and just falls to one side. Henry is seriously the most fun baby. I love everything about this age.

This is how Winston helps me bake and cook. He is my man for pouring in the ingredients, stirring and of course a little taste testing.

Watching a movie at Grandma's with cousins and friends.

We went to the park the other day and Winston was so excited to be outside and running around, he forgot to tell me he needed to go to the bathroom. He's been so good lately, even when we go places, but he just couldn't hold it. I had an extra pair of underpants and shoes, but no pants! He didn't seem to mind, although I think the other parents at the playground might have. Oh well!

Winston and Henry continue to be good pals. There is the occasional small hit or tease, but they really do love eachother. Henry smiles whenever Winston walks in the room. Winston loves to hold Henry and say good morning to him (all day). I am so excited for when they can really play together!

Easter

Winston has been talking about the Easter bunny for the entire month of March. Everything he sees..."I want the Easter bunny to bring me that". It's been fun to tell him that he needs to do whatever we ask him to do so the Easter bunny doesn't hop right by our house. Luckily, he made a stop by our house...

He loves any super hero, but I think Spiderman just might be his favorite right now.

Ever since he saw the Robin Hood movie, he's been wanting a bow and arrow. Luckily I found one for two bucks at the grocery store. Daniel made a few adjustments to make it easier for Winston to use on his own. He is loving it!

Another favorite is anything Toy Story. He has seen both movies probably about thirty times. He's always saying, "to infinity and beyond!". After he was done looking at his Easter surprises he got a sad look on his face and said, "I almost forgot to give the Easter bunny a hug and kiss." He is getting more and more fun each day.

Easter

Winston is still potty training (he's almost perfect when we're at home). He had a little accident just before the easter egg hunt at my parents, so he spent the day pantless. He didn't seem to mind though. We had such a fun day. We had lunch, an easter egg hunt for the kids, a hunt for money in sawdust, a hunt for the adults (a few close calls and one lost contact, it was hilarious), decorating sugar cookies and just having fun with cousins. Winston was exhausted and fell asleep almost immediately when we left. Fun day!

We couldn't find his swimming goggles for his bath, so his work goggles had to do. He plugs his nose and tries to go under water. He takes the longest baths! He would take one multiple times a day, every day if I let him.

We had a baby shower for our friends Cameron and Carly. I'm so sad that I forgot to take pictures! There was a good turn out and the tables and food looked so pretty. It was such a fun night. After everyone left I saw my camera. So, these are what I could take pictures of...

My sister-in-law sent these cookies as the favors. Aren't they so cute? I was so excited to get them in the mail. She usually does sugar cookies, but this time they were chocolate and so delicious! She is SO creative and is always thinking of new designs. You can check out her latest creations here.

Sorry for the gross pictures, but this was such a fun game! We melted different candy bars in diapers and had everyone guess what kind they were. Sounds sick, but it really was fun!

Miriam and Henry

Daniel and Winston went to a baptism a couple weeks ago and I watched Miriam while Doug, Ann and the kids went skiing. Luckily both Miriam and Henry took long naps, because when they were awake...things were tricky :) Both wanted to be held. I tried holding both at the same time but they kept trying to get each other. I would hold one while the other would play with a toy for a minute then look at me and start crying. It was pretty hilarious. It was fun for me to have them both want me, but it was nice when Daniel got home to help me.

Army Guys and Pirates

Winston loves to play with his army guys and knights. He makes secret hideouts for them and has them battle eachother.

He played like this for forty five minutes the other day. It was so cute to hear him make machine gun noises and talk to them.

Winston thought that these guys needed a bath. And not just any bath...a bubble bath. He washed each guy and then set them up on the ledge to dry.

We have 1:00 church. Winston woke up this morning at 6:45. So, we had a lot of time to think of fun "inside" things to do. His favorite was playing the part of a pirate. I already had the eye patch and earrings and Daniel made him a pirate hat with poster board and white out. Then Winston wanted to put on pirate clothes. So we cut up an old t-shirt and came up with this. The above picture is his angry face. I love it. All day we've been hearing, "Argh matey!"

Discovery Museum at Gateway

My mom took Winston and Rylie to the Discovery Museum at Gateway for a little bonding time. They had so much fun. Winston spent most of his time at the construction zone. He loved it and was so sad when it was time to go. Thanks mom!

This is what I get to wake up to every morning! Henry is such a happy baby. I love it.

As you can tell...Henry loves to eat. He is so fun to feed! We'll hold the bottle about an inch from his mouth as he kicks his legs and waves his arms just waiting for the food to come to him. It's hilarious. When we feed him baby food, he says "mmmm" with every bite.

Daniel is working on replacing a faucet in our bathroom and Winston wants to help. He gets his tools and his "work gloves" on for every project.

Getting the "bad guys" before bed.

Winston loves to try on clothes and shoes. He changes outfits at least twice a day. This time he wanted to try on a 6-9 month swim suit that was his when he was little! We thought it was so funny that it fit!

A swim suit is put on about every other day. We can't wait for warmer weather!

He has the funniest opinion about things that he thinks he HAS to take when we go someplace in the car. This day is was a baseball helmet. I love this kid.

He rarely likes me to do his hair, so I always get excited when he asks for spiky hair. Isn't he so cute?!

My mom hosted the annual cousin Valentine party. Activities included...making Valentine's for cousins and delivering them to their "mailboxes", a fun and fancy lunch with heart shaped sandwiches, frosting and decorating cookies and a dance party! Winston was so excited to frost the cookies. He kept saying, "I just want to frost cookies"...the whole time. Thank you mom for a fun fun party!

Cicily is so cute with Henry. She loves to hold him and she even got him to sleep for me. We had SO much fun!

Winston is THREE!

My pictures keep coming up in the wrong order, oh well. Winston turned three on January 28th! He was SO excited. He talked about his car party the entire week before..."I have my birthday party. A car party. All my cousins come. I give them car cookies. I have my birthday cake. I blow my candles all gone and I open presents!" My cute sister-in-law, Kristen, made these amazing car cookies as the favors for his party. She made several designs and wrapped them in little individual bags with cute ribbon and shipped them to me. She's amazing! She has an etsy shop and a blog that displays just some of her amazing talent.

Daniel made this car for Winston. He loves it! He loves that the little door on the back can open and close so he can take his animals for a ride.

Daniel made this cake too. I'm lucky he's so creative! As he's putting on the sprinkles he says to me, "Me and Kristen should open a business!". I love Daniel :)

Working on their next project...safety first!

Winston is just the cutest. I love him so so much. I know it's cheesy to say, but I honestly can't imagine my life without him. As wild and crazy as this boy is, he has SO many moments of cuteness. He is so fun to be around. He'll say at least a dozen times a day, "I love you mom. I love you too." He says this about Daniel, Henry, cousins and family, Curious George, Mickey Mouse, his Buzz Lightyear and Woody boots, etc. He is so sweet. He makes me so happy.

We had such a fun time in Kauai. We loved going to the beach, the pool, Walmart, Costco, and lots of other fun places. I would write more, but Winston is breathing down my neck and Henry is about to wake up :) It was so nice to get away from the cold for a while and not have to worry about anything.

Winston's first time on an airplane. He was a trooper. He slept most of the time and only lost it for about the last ten minutes. I love it when people stare at you as if you're a bad parent while your child is screaming at the top of his lungs and flailing his body around in his seat.
